Palace Halal Limited was founded in October 2024 by Israfeel Yaseer Abdur Rahman, MBA. Israfeel is a Hausa-Fulani Born American who grew up in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area.

Israfeel has over 20 years experience preparing traditional dishes and experimenting with fusion dishes sampled from Latin American, African, Asian, and European ethnic groups. He has been informally educated how to prepare various dishes from restaurant owners, families, and chefs starting at the age of 12. Advise he has received from restaurant owners and chefs from New Orleans in the early 2000s and more recently in Istanbul in 2021, had influenced him to open his first restaurant in Hong Kong.

In Hong Kong, Israfeel seeks to present some of his own fusions dishes, collaborate with others to create new dishes, and popularize select traditional dishes. Additionally, Israfeel seeks that Palace Halal Limited always serves a completely Halal menu and provides a homely restaurant environment for customers.
